A new look. The same commitment to freedom.
Dear friends,
After more than 20 years, what began as a grassroots effort operating out of boxes in a Boston law office has grown into a thriving community-based organization focused on freedom, resistance, and joy. We’ve built programs that are life-changing and life-giving. With this growth comes the opportunity to reflect on our values and how we are showing up in the world.
So, our new look and website are more than just a redesign; they are a re-envisioning of our work and how we engage with you, our friends and supporters. They are a reflection of the urgency, resilience, and hope at the heart of what we do, as well as the communities and movements we stand with to liberate people, empower communities, and dismantle systems of oppression.

Through our powerful, new website, we’re:
>> Sharing our unique approach to freedom, while uplifting the voices of people directly impacted by the harms of the criminal legal system.
>> Exposing the grim everyday reality of wrongful convictions while providing resources to amplify the movement for change.
>> Sharing the journey and struggles of coming home after long-term incarceration, and the joy of being in community.
>> Inviting you to explore ways to get involved, support this special community, and more.
We hope these efforts will inspire you to engage with our mission and with the broader movement to reimagine what justice can be in New England.
Sincerely,
Jordan Salvatoriello
