Corporate & Pro Bono Partnerships
We collaborate with businesses, corporations, and leading law firms across New England to fight wrongful convictions, support exonerees, and create systemic change.
Pro Bono Legal Partnerships
NEIP partners with over 30 law firms that provide nearly 10,000 hours annually of pro bono legal services.
It takes a team of people and countless hours of legal work to overturn even one wrongful conviction. Each year, we receive hundreds of requests for assistance and manage more than 100 active investigations.
As a small independent nonprofit, we rely on pro bono support from legal professionals and law firms throughout New England who lend their time, skills, passion, and energy to help us fight wrongful convictions, support people working to rebuild their lives in freedom, and expose the systemic harms of the criminal legal system. The important efforts of our pro bono partners enable us to have the most significant impact and create the most change.
Are you or your law firm interested in becoming a pro bono partner?
A pro bono partnership with the New England Innocence Project offers a unique chance to use your legal expertise for good, expand your social justice and philanthropic initiatives, and engage employees in causes that matter to them. Contact Radha Natarajan at rnatarajan@newenglandinnocence.org for more information.
“We have had the privilege of observing firsthand the profound impact of NEIP’s work within the criminal justice system: months and years of tireless advocacy, extensive diligence, and showing up—reminding the innocent and their families that we hear them, we see them, and we are fighting for them. We are grateful for the opportunity to play even a small role in this critical work, and we are proud to stand beside the NEIP team as we fight together to help the innocent achieve just results.”
— Doreen Rachal and Kenyon Hall, Sidley Austin

A special thank you to some of our Pro Bono Partners over the years!
