Exoneree Network's 2025 Impact

We're excited to share just some of the Exoneree Network’s accomplishments from 2025!

Last year at the Exoneree Network, we:

  • Supported 48 community members, including exonerees and people who have suffered the trauma of long-term incarceration. Together, they lost 1,344 years wrongfully incarcerated.

    • Assisted 19 family members and/or loved ones who serve as a vital support system for our community members, offering a more holistic approach to healing that is unique to our program.

    • Provided community members with $83,000 in direct financial assistance to help them rebuild their lives in freedom.

    • Held 29 programs and events, including tech trainings, quarterly get-togethers, and our second annual healing retreat. Sixteen of these events were also attended by family members and loved ones of community members.

Other highlights include attending the annual Innocence Network conference in Seattle in April, enjoying the Celebration of Freedom & Community with friends and family in June, and being named a Nonprofit Excellence Award finalist in the “Community Building" category by the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network.

Thank you to everyone who helped us continue to build a thriving and safe community for our members! We’ll keep you posted on our progress in 2026.
